Frequently Asked Questions — Grown Carat
Are your diamonds certified?
Yes. Every Grown Carat diamond is certified by either IGI or GIA — the two most trusted gemological laboratories in the world.
Will I receive a physical certificate with my diamond?
In most cases, yes. Your diamond ships with its original certificate included.
The exception is GIA-certified diamonds between 0.15 and 2.99 carats issued after January 1, 2023. For these, GIA transitioned to a digital system: your diamond arrives with an official GIA sticker featuring a QR code. Scan it to access the full certificate and verify every detail online. GIA diamonds certified before that date still come with the traditional physical certificate. This change applies only to GIA — diamonds certified by IGI continue to include their physical certificate as usual.
Do you have a physical store, or are you online only?
We operate exclusively online. Skipping the overhead of a physical storefront lets us pass the savings directly to you.
Do you offer discounts or promotions?
No. Instead of inflating prices just to "discount" them later, we keep our prices as low as possible 365 days a year. What you see is what you pay — every single time.
Shipping
When will I receive my order?
Delivery time depends on the diamond's origin (domestic or international). Our official shipping window is 5–10 business days, though most customers receive their diamond within about a week and a half.
Which carrier do you use?
We currently use UPS for all domestic shipments within the United States.
When will I receive my tracking number?
You'll receive your tracking number once the diamond has cleared customs and leaves our facility en route to your address.
Can I expedite my shipment?
Most of the shipping time is taken up by customs processing, which can't be rushed. Last-mile delivery can be expedited, but it usually only shaves off 1–2 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
No, for the time being.
Is a signature required upon delivery?
Not by default. If you'd like added security, you can require a signature during checkout. For high-value or high-risk orders, we reserve the right to require a signature at our discretion.
What happens if UPS loses my package?
If your package is lost in transit (meaning it's never marked as delivered), we'll issue a full refund for your order.
Will I owe tariffs when my package arrives?
If you're in the United States, you won't owe anything on delivery — tariffs are already built into the price you see at checkout. International customers may owe a small amount in import duties upon receipt, depending on the trade agreements between their country and the United States.
Returns
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window on all loose diamonds. You have 30 days from the date you receive your diamond to postmark a return.
Each customer is entitled to one free return every 60 days. Any additional returns within that 90-day period are subject to a $50 restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
Do you provide a return shipping label?
Yes. We provide a free USPS Priority Mail label for you to print at home. If you'd prefer to use a different carrier, you'll be responsible for the shipping costs.
What address should I send my return to?
The prepaid USPS label we provide already includes the return address.
